But turning 6 brought new highlights

Fun on the Ranch lit up your eyes

Not many 6-year-olds learn how to drive

What a wild time!

The season started with a little fall

It barely bothered you at all

You were brave when they stitched your face

Like a Superhero from outer space

You gave me a smile six miles wide

When you said, “I’m living the best life”

Jack, there’s no one like you

I’m so lucky you’re my nephew

At the Ranch, you swam and dived

Went to the park for long bike rides

Had adventures with Cairo, the K-9

You played all day, rarely seeming to tire

What a wild time!

The summer of 2020had COVID, aplenty

It hasn’t been too great for many

That’s not the case for you and me

We made some awesome memories

As I watched you grow and mature
