There are two kinds of people in this world – ones who love romantic movies and can watch them any time of the day and the ones who don’t want to admit that they love romantic movies. But honestly who doesn’t love the classics like Titanic, Brokeback Mountains, or Pretty Woman, right? These movies are forever etched in people’s minds and can tear up the toughest! That’s the beauty of these movies.

But a good romantic movie can be difficult to find sometimes. This genre can sometimes lapse into being too cliched or unrealistic. That’s why we decided to come up with the list of the best romantic movies of 2021 (that have come out so far). While some have happy endings, some are bittersweet, but nonetheless, all of these are beautifully made and perfect for a romantic movie binge night!

  1. To All The Boys: Always and Forever

        Based on Jenny Han’s bestseller, Always and Forever, Lara Jean, this movie is the final movie in the trilogy. Lana Condor and Noah Centineo come together once again to create their         beautiful chemistry and magic on screen in this finale. Now that Lara chose Peter over John Ambrose, the movie revolves around the new hurdles faced by the couple as school comes         to an end and they face the possibility of going to different colleges.

        All the three movies in this series have been loved by the audience and this one was released on Netflix in February this year.

  2. Squared Love

        If a little over-the-top 90s rom-com is what you love then you will definitely love this one! Squared Love is based in Poland, the story revolves around the leading lady, Monica, living a         double life – she is a model by day and teacher by night. The movie turns into a familiar yet beautiful love story when Enzo, a celebrity journalist comes into town to find out her true         story. You can watch this one on Netflix.

  3. Stars Fell On Alabama

        A classic rom-com with a fake girlfriend storyline! After Sweet Home Alabama, Stars Fell On Alabama is yet another romantic movie that is based in the Southern state. Starring James         Maslow, this one is about a Hollywood agent who hires an actress (Ciara Hanna) to be his date when he returns to his hometown after 15 years for a school reunion.

  4. Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar

        Starring Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo, this one is a romantic comedy about two best friends who leave their small Midwestern town for a relaxing vacation to Vista Del Mar, Florida.         There they come across a charming man, Edgar (Jamie Dornan), who is there on a mission from his boss to destroy the town. This one is a light-hearted romantic comedy with some         good performances.

  5. The Map Of Tiny Perfect Things

        Based on a unique concept of time loop, this one is a beautiful yet unusual love story. If you are up for a romantic movie with a bit of a twist, then watch The Map Of Tiny Perfect         Things. The movie revolves around Mark (Kyle Allen) and Margaret (Kathryn Newton) who are stuck in a time loop and together they try to make the most of it. This love story has         some moving scenes that showcase young love beautifully.

        JLo is at it again with another rom-com! Marry Me is a complete fan-fiction romantic movie that stars Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson in the lead roles. JLo plays a pop star who         realizes her partner has been cheating on her and at the same time, a fan at a concert proposes marriage. There’s a whole lot of drama and fun in this one!

  7. Two Of Us

        Not looking for high school or young romance? Want to watch something more sincere and beautiful? Then check out Two Of Us, a French-language movie that is based on two retired         women who have been in love for years but secretly. Their families think that they are just friends but Nina (Barbara Sukowa) and Madeleine (Martine Chevallier) have been in love and         living together happily for years. Things get difficult and their secret love story is threatened when one of their daughters finds out that they are more than just friends. Critically         acclaimed for its beautiful storyline and performance, this one is a rare gem.

  8. The Last Letter From Your Lover

        Based on Jojo Moyes’ heart-breaking novel, The Last Letter From Your Lover, showcases love stories across two timelines. While in 1960, Jennifer, played by Shailene Woodley, can’t         decide between her cold husband and lover, in 2003 a journalist played by Felicity Jones uncovers all of Jennifer’s love letters along with her love interest.
